Afternoon of August 7th, 2010, the first plenary conference of the preparatory committee opened. The meeting discussed about the preparation schedule of HASA and determined the following issues:
1. Per the suggestion of Shanghai Commerce Chamber and Shanghai Federation of Industry & Commerce, in order to comply with the related regulations of China’s non-profit organization management, HASA plans to use the formal name of “中国人力资源同业公会” and the English expression shall be “HR Administration & Strategy Association”. The final name shall be consistent as approved by the government;
2. The meeting deliberated the Charter for the Founding Members’ Conference of HASA (Draft Version IV of 20100630);
3. The Preparatory Committee appointed Dr. Ai-dong Liu as the Director-General-on-Duty for August 2010 and September 2010, in charge of HASA preparation and the related schedule;
4. The meeting reviewed the comments of HASA website;
5. The meeting finalized the time table for HASA sanction. HASA determines to register non-profit organization and HASA funds in Hong Kong while it also applies to register in Mainland China, so as to provide better conditions for HASA’s international cooperation， communication and finance operations;
6. The meeting also confirmed the working schedule for August 2010 to December 2010 as below:
6.1 Cooperate on survey white paper with renowned HR vendors;
